Edward Gresser is executive director of Progressive Economy, based in Washington, D.C. In 2014, he served as Scholar in Residence at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the first such appointment in nearly 30 years. During the second Clinton term, he served as Policy Advisor to U.S. Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky.
