Ron Somers is founder and CEO of India First Group, LLC, a strategic consulting firm dedicated to helping U.S. companies succeed in investing in India and assisting Indian companies navigate the complex political and regulatory environment in the U.S. Ron grew the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) into the largest bilateral trade association in the U.S. He served as President of USIBC for 10 years from 2004-2014. The landmark U.S.-India civil nuclear initiative was clinched under Ron’s leadership at USIBC.
