Diana Suhardiman is a senior researcher for the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research. She has more than 10 years of experience in natural resources governance with particular focus on water governance in Asia. She is currently a senior researcher and Sub-Theme Leader Governance and Political Economy at the International Water Management Institute (IWWI), Southeast Asia Regional Office, based in Vientiane, Lao PDR. She leads IWMI research portfolio on natural resource governance, looking at multilevel policy and institutional analysis at the intersection of land, water, environment and energy. She is also the author of the book, Bureaucracy and Development: Reflections from the Indonesian Water Sector (2015).
