Fredrick D. Palmer is principal, GreenCoal Solutions LLC. He provides strategic counsel to Peabody Energy on energy policy and government affairs. He also served as Peabody’s senior vice president of Government Relations and now serves Peabody in a consulting role. Prior to joining Peabody Energy he served 15 years as CEO Western Fuels Association, Inc. He has been an advocate for social development through coal energy since 1980. In addition, he is a member of the National Coal Council, Executive Committee, and chairman, Coal Policy Committee and is Peabody Energy’s representative on the board of directors of the World Coal Association and past chairman.
