Dr. Julie Swann is the department head and A. Doug Allison Distinguished Professor of the Fitts Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. She co-founded the Center for Health and Humanitarian Systems at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and she was previously on loan to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Senior Science Advisor for the H1N1 pandemic response.
