Walton is an energy analyst with the World Energy Outlook at the International Energy Agency, where she leads analysis on the water-energy nexus and co-led the 2017 special report on energy access. Previously, she worked for the Energy and National Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C., where she covered unconventional oil and gas development in North America, the energy-water nexus and the geopolitics of energy.
